Christmas with the Ruff's
Well, this year for Christmas we got to stay the night with Bapu and Gdad (Ashley's parents). It was a very special Christmas. Because of some of the events in the past month, the whole family was together again under one roof. It was such and amazing feeling to have all the sisters back in one house with mom and dad. Waking up Christmas morning brought back so many past memories for us girls. But this year when we woke up, we had little Brooklyn who was way into Christmas this year. We are were so excited to run into the living room and watch her walk in and see the presents Santa had brought for her.
Uncle Corey, Aunt "Tatie" and dad stayed up the night before putting together all the riding things Brooklyn had got. It was such a joy to see her smiling little face walk in and see her big Tiger and bike sitting there.
We were all so thankful to be blessed so much to have the ability buy things for our child and family. The week before Christmas, my mom and mimi and myself went around and collected presents from the CPS angel trees. It was so emotional to see all the presents that people were willing to get for kids that they will never met in their lives. Knowing that people will go and spend money on kids not their own is so heart felt. Christmas has become so commercialized and people don't ever really stop and thinking about what the true spirit of Christmas is and to know that there are people out there who still have that "true" spirit of Christmas makes my heart all warm and fuzzy.
Enjoy the slide show.
